I am trying to setup a report with a couple of subreports in the detail band of the main report.

I want each subreport to have it's own header before it list the content of that data, if the list is long enough, I want it to break the page, print a new header, and continue with the list.

When done with the first list I want it to start with the next subreport in order and do the same.

Some of those reports can be as short as a few items, some can be hundreds and even thousand of items long.

I have tried setting it up with groups with their own groupheader but it wont break page correctly, whichever list that comes to the end of the page jump to the start of that group, moves a bit to the right and writes over the data on the same page...

How can I get this to work the right way?

How do I need to set up the data? (using an old 2.0.4 version)

Example of how it looks in the end pdf

First of All, do not keep any palette component in deail band instead you can put components in Title/Summary band (summary is preferred). Put page break after ever sub report and set the properties(search for page break properties) for that page break. Have a work around with pagination also.

Hope this info will give some idea in your case :-)

Cheers..!!!
