Custom function not being recognized by jrxml file

I've included the java build path and I created a src folder. I ran the functon library wizard with the test class and functions. My report project see's the dummy functions inside my class, but when I create a custom function it does not see it and says that the function is undefined. Please help I don't know what to do from here.
