oesina
Hi Rmjrao, you can set Axis position to "Left Top" or "Bottom Right", but there's no option to hide it. Use colors for TickMarks and Values matching the Background for the effect of hiding.Happy charting,Olga
rmjrao
ok cool. Thanks for quick response. If this is the case then i need to set y-axis data range same for both the charts. What i mean is if chart one shows y-axis data like 1-100-200-300..... and other chart shows 1-5-10-15-..., if i hide the second chart y-axis then graph will not convey the what we want. Is there any way to set the same data points for both the charts? Thanks, Rmjrao.
BenR
Did you find a way to do this? I would like the scale of both Y-axis to be the same and have the same range/start position. I can't figure this out. It seems silly that it would not be possible.
linda.mckenzie
I put one axis on the left and the other on the right - <axis position="rightOrBottom">I then set the colour of the range axis to the same as the background [255,255,255]I had a variable to calculate the maximum value returned by any series. I set the min of both range axes to 0 and the max to the variable. So both graphs used the same scale and only one was seen.
andres_terminus
At leaste, what i did in jaspersoft studio, was to put the font the most tiny size posible, that way it will only show the axis line, that is much easier than hide numbers that go out of the report.Hope that this solve the problem to someone in the future
