Jasper 4.7 report server and LDAP auth

Hi,

I know this question does get asked a lot but I am having difficulty setting up LDAP auth on my jasper server and I would need some help. I have been following this article

but I haven't been able to get it to work. Whenever I set it up I get The requested resource () is not available.

Can any one help me? I am using jasper server 4.7

This is the file that I am editing

vim /opt/jasperreports-server-cp-4.7.0/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver/WEB-INF/applicationContext-security.xml

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Oli,

 

I wrote the post you referenced. I'd like to point out that the article describes the configuration for Jasper Server 4.2.1, I suppose that things have changed. As far as I know, Jasper Server is a Web application that uses the Spring framework and specially one of its modules: Spring Security. I recommend you to review the user's manual of the version of Spring Security that uses the version 4.7 of Jasper Server.
