How to hide/ show columns for Jasper Reports with java checkbox?

I'm using iReport 3.7.6 and for example I have 5 checkboxes in my netbean project and i want to generate a jasper report. When i ticked 2 checkbox and 2 of the columns will be show on the report and hide the other 3 columns. May i know how to perform the task?

Use print when expression. Create a checkbox for every column. These checkboxes would be of boolean type. Now for every column in print when expression write a code which must be like {Checkbox}?true:false
