martine.dubourg Posted November 5, 2012 Share Posted November 5, 2012 Just downloaded iReport 4.7.1, extracted the tar gz file and invoked bin/ireport.The splash screen hangs at "Done loading modules", the CPU rises to 100%.I have tryed with OpenJDK 1.6 & Sun Java JDK 1.7 without success.Any idea?Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Solution rsutton Posted January 10, 2013 Solution Share Posted January 10, 2013 I experienced this with 4.8.0, 5.0.0 and 5.0.1it seems to be getting confused with the screen size with 2 monitors.simple solution was. unplug one monitor and log out of ubuntu.then log back in, (ubuntu detects only one monitor and reconfigures) and start ireport.go through the set up wizard then close ireport.now you can plug your second monitor back in.after the first time start up with one monitor, it will work fine.
