How calculate sum based on date

Haii all,

      I have to calculate sum of  all shows based on particular date in ireport 3.0.0

ie; Date-04-07-12

          Morning show 

                      adult       :100

                     children   :200

                           total    : 300

         Evening show

                  adult           :120

                  children     : 500

                   total           : 620

           Day total           : 920( sum of all total shows in a particular date. I have to group by date)

i want the day total should show at last of the particular date .but i configure in group not showing correctly.Please help me to complete the task and tell me how to configure correctly.

 If your using SQL as a data source, which flavor and version? This sort of thing is much easier to do in the data query. Whats a sample of your source data look like?
