I tried installing 4.5.1. Same issue. I get the following output when I run ./ireport from /Applications/iReport.app/MacOs:

Cannot find java. Please use the --jdkhome switch.

I've tried using --jdkhome with several differnt paths with no success.

Any other Mac users out there seeing this issue?

Same issue here. iReport professional 4.2.1.  Error in the log says "Cannot find java.  use the --jdkhome switch".

I've tried using the switch as instructed (using the path /usr/bin) and still fails with the error.  Other java apps launch fine.
