priyad
/PageCountProblem.jpgI am using jasper reports 4.0, I am using the built-in PAGE_COUNT variable for displaying the record number on each page. In the last column - highlighted in attached image, I am printing the record number, but sometimes it is giving incorrect value when entries go on next page. vindeel
Is evaluation time for the variable on "page" mode? try putting it on "report".
priyad
PAGE_COUNT variable is built -in variable of jasper report which counts the number of records on current page. On next page this variable is re-initalised to zero and counting for records starts again.
vindeel
YEs, the variable $V{PAGE_COUNT} comes with a default evaluation time, which - as in your case- resets every page. You can change the evaluationtime and thereby affect the time the variable is reset. This option comes under the variables propertiessettings. martinnovoty
This bug resides as is, as the build-in variable evaluation time can not be changed.
