lksingh
Hi All,I'm new to this technology. My requirements says to implement drill down in the Dashboards. I'm able to implement the same in the reports build via iReports Designer, but couldn't find any way to implement this in Dashboards. If someone can explain how to implement this it will be of great help !!Thanks in advance. simonabertozzi
If you have already implemented drill-down in reports, then you have already done it; just add the master report in a dashboard, and you'll be able to drill to the detail one.Dashboard in JasperReports Server are report containers, they don't add functionality to the single reports.Best regards,Simona
lksingh
Hi Simona,Actually I've created a iReport(R1) having hyperlink to other report(R2), but when I used this report in one Dashboard(say D1) to go to other Dashboard(say D2) it doesn't work. It gives error as it cannot reach to dashboard path. Can you guide me if I'm going in some wrong direction !!!Thanks
norcenmarco
Hi lksingh,i will guide you on how to achive your goal if i understand what you mean!To drill through dashboard is neraly the same... For example go on the link panel and choose:Hyperlink target: SelfHyperlink type: Referenceand on reference tab set the url for example: flow.html?_flowId=dashboardRuntimeFlow&dashboardResource=/Configurazione_Base/Dashboard/Cruscotto_Generalewhere /Configurazione_Base/Dashboard/Cruscotto_Generale is the path to your dashboard. Let me know!! Cheers,Marco
