moz Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 hi all,is it possible to have a report display elements from database that were stored formatted? e.g. html or xhtml or xml or ??? I have some "classic" elements for reporting in the database (postgres) and also parts where the enduser should be able to have at least limited means of formatting (wysiwyg editor as frontend on some webpage).We are working on a bunch of directives for abot 15 countries providing their relevant directives in local languages. Can't you just add a text field to the report and expand it for the html or xml to fit? or are you needing to see the html as an html file? If so, iReport already has an HTML viewer you can use to display the page? Just make sure you set the text field to Styled? Or am I totally missing something here?
