set backcolor for pdf

In pdf I want to set the backcolor for the pagehead, and the textField property  isStretchWithOverflow  is true. But the backcolor position is not align because the line feed , it is just the position where the text populated.please see the attached,the text is too long in the second column.

what can i do to handle this?thank you.

Apparently it's a matter of unset stretchType attributes here, for the elements on the same row with your text field. For more information, please post the entire JRXML here.
