side by side subreport

Hello all,

 

I am a beginner in ireports. I have one subreport 'S1' in summary band of main report and  I want to add other two subreports 'S2' and 'S3' side by side below 'S1' on the summary band. I am having hard time in having such layout. 

Any suggestions are appreciable..

What kind of problems are you having? Are you getting errors, or is the data overwriting the lower subreports or is there missing data? etc....

Second Subreport is below the first report  i.e what I wanted but my third subreport 'S3'  is  overwriting  the first subreprot 'S1'. I am not sure how to format third subreport ,to make it on the side of second subreport.

Set you position type like this:  Subreport 1 must not float, so Fix Relative to Top. Subreports 2 and 3 must float. 

All three should stretch with overflow.

Thanks to all. I tried setting up the position and checking the stretch with overflow. Unfortunately it' s not working. I am getting the same result. S3 is overwriting S1.

Do you have any other suggestions?

The best thing to do right now would be to post a sketch of what you want your report to look like along with the source xml.  That way people can see what needs to be done and where the report design might be letting you down.
