I've tried all osx, linux and windows and they are all slow, especially when opening the report design. Have tried to increase the heap size by editing ireport.conf but no significant difference here. Surprisingly if I launch a full Netbeans IDE with iReport plugin installed, it works really fast :p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jpauze Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 I haven't no, I have noticed periodically there is a delay in opening the report before i can select report elements but other than that performance has been great. fambrius Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 I've been suffering the slowness of iReport for several months working with a huge report.I've tried everything, even using JasperSoft Studio (which went a bit faster), but could never use the designer with a speed as when you're using Word.Today I've discovered JasperWave (www.jasperwave.com) which goes really fast!
