NandiniBC
iReport 4.0.1 have many improved features than 3.0.0 like support for netbeans, support for barcodes and improved style library etc.jrxml developed in 3.0.0 may not be supported by 4.0.1.refer release documents of higher versions of ireport 3.0.0 for more info -Sonata
thomc
If you want to know details of 2 version you can read change log.In my opinion, version 4.0.1 really speed up your report, compile jrxml very fast. And one function i want to note is accepting you design more than one detail band, It is useful for me when i create report. thomc
This is bug change log:http://jasperforge.org/projects/ireport/tracker/changelogAnd if you want to read full change log (new feature and bug) you can see one by one in:http://jasperforge.org/plugins/espnews/?group_id=83I think you should use iReports 4.0.1, it is a little difficult to design more than 3.0.0 but speed up your application. And note, you should get the lib .jar accompany in C:Program FilesJasperSoftiReport-4.0.0ireportmodulesext to the lib of your application: commons-collections commons-digester commons-logging groovy-all iText jasperreports poiPost Edited by thomc at 04/14/2011 07:
