 Hi,

I was wandering if iReport supports the following :

I have a table with 13 columns. The 1st and the second columns are displayed as groups. Is there any way I can achieve something like :

Column Header 1 Column Header 2 Column Header 3 Column Header 4 Column Header 5 Column Header 6 Column Header 7 Column Header 8 Column Header 9 Column Header 10 Column Header 11 Column Header 12 Column Header 13
Group1 Name Group2 Value 1 Column 3 Column 4 Column 5 Column 6 Column 7 Column 8 Column 9 Column 10 Column 11 Column 12 Column 13
Column 3 Column 4 Column 5 Column 6 Column 7 Column 8 Column 9 Column 10 Column 11 Column 12 Column 13
Group2 Value 2 Column 3 Column 4 Column 5 Column 6 Column 7 Column 8 Column 9 Column 10 Column 11 Column 12 Column 13
Column 3 Column 4 Column 5 Column 6 Column 7 Column 8 Column 9 Column 10 Column 11 Column 12 Column 13

or, not the best option but willing to adapt, if there's any way to achieve the same as above playing with the xml code.

Thanks in advance,

--marco

for the time being I solved it with a subreport. I was wondering, though, is there a way to do it without using subreports ? The rationale behind it is that the table can contain millions of records : since the query is already performed on the master report ... is there any chance I can achieve this without having to re-query for each change of (group1,group2) ?
