hickorysmoke
I just installed iReport-3.7.6 and am experiencing a problem. Whenever I attempt to perform an action that requires a File Chooser to open nothing happens. For example, when I try to add a new driver via the Services window by right clicking the Driver entry under databases The New JDBC Driver window opens then clicking the Add button to add a new Driver File does nothing.Same with File--> Open. No File Chooser to navigate to files I want to reference.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.
hickorysmoke
Problem resolved.I have a Sony VIAO Windows 7 64 bit laptop. Looking at the Help-->About in iReprots revealed that it was running with an older version of Java (1.5.0_08) that was installed in the Program Files (x86) directory.I download the straight Windows version of Java 1.6.0_21 which is the 32 bit version installed in the Program Files (x86) directory. Restarted iReports and Help--> About reveals it is running with 1.6.0_21 and all the File Choosers now work.
