unability to copy/paste multiple elements at the same time

Dear all, I hope it's only me, but somehow I cannot copy/paste several element (text and fields, lines...) and this is very annoying. I can go one by one, but this really sucks and is taking forever. I was using 3.7.2 and went to 3.7.6 because I read in the release notes that something related was fixed.

I am not a big fan of the new look and feel but I am getting around and start getting comfortable with it.

 

Is this a bug or some setting somewhere?
