northface
Hi, I don't have much experience with JasperServer, but we have been using it for quite sometime to generate report. We were using postgres database connector and had no issues. Now I am trying to connect to a MSSQL Database but for some unkown reason I am unable to make it work. I've been trying all I could think. This is the 2 datasource I tested. Both says Test Successfullnet.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driverjdbc:jtds:sqlserver://zz60:1433/Heatandsun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriverjdbc:odbc:heat1 Also I run the report just fine in iReport, then I upload to the jasperserver, the database are test successfull and I try to run the report I get problem with the MsTDC Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: The operation could not be performed because the OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB' was unable to begin a distributed transaction. I went into the component configuration and made sure the Allow incoming and Allow outgoing is check in, I run my jasperserver as a service, I changed the service credential for a full domain admin. I run the same query in the ireport I get it within seconds and the report it good. I even tried running the jasperserver in the console of the running user. I am out of ideas, if anyone has anything they can share to help out it would be very handy! :) Thanks!!!!!! NorthFace.
leniviy
Do you use views on the SQL Server that refer to remote servers? Do you run ireport on the same machine as jasperserver?
