Auditing for Jasper pro

Hi,

I am trying to configure audit reports with js 3.7.1 pro Without sample databases installed.

In applicationContext-audit.xml file: i changed this entry to true

<entry key="com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.logging.audit.domain.AuditEvent" value="true"/>

But once this is done the server stops functioning. even after changing this to false again, the server does not gets up

With sample databases:

this error does not occur. When i change the value to true, i am able to view all the audit reports properly.. any idea of why this is happening?

Is sample database and reports a prerequisite to configure auditing?

Certainly the sample data shouldn't be a requirement for auditing to work. It seems that there must be something else at work.

Do you have any errors or other info in the JasperServer logs to have an idea about why it won't restart?
