what is your issue? printing the result in your format? or capture in a variable the division result?or what else?

I'm sorry but I still do not understand where is the difficulty...
are your values in a String format?
if they are in a double/Double format... why you don't you use a simple definition as you wrote? ($V{v1}/$V{v2})
