Connected to datasource, can\'t view information

Hi - I'm essentially a non-technical n00b taking charge of getting Jasperserver set up for a proof of concept.  I added a new postgresql datasource via jdbc, tested the connection (it worked) and saved the new datasource.  The problem is... I can't see the data from the datasource.  I'm combing the user manual, because I'm certain that this must be something really simple that I'm missing.  However, I'd be willing to bet that someone in the forums knows the answer off the top of their head.

Any help?
