al_ryder
Hi,I was wondering if there was an easy way to bulk load users in jasper server 3.5 CE . I was hoping to use the web services API for it, but the API for users doesn't seem to exist? Thanks Al
lucianc
A web service for creating users has been added in 3.7.In 3.5, you can look at the import/export tool. You could have an application that generates XML in the format that import works with.Regards,Lucian
al_ryder
Hi, Is the web service only in the Professional edition or also in the CE edition of 3.7 as I've just downloaded the CE edition and neither the samples directory nor the web services guide has any reference to a web services API for creating users. Thanks Alan
lucianc
Yes, the service is there in CE as well, but not documented or included in the samples (not sure why). Go to http://.../jasperserver/services to see all web services. You can use the user/roles web service by downloading the WSDL and generating client stubs using Axis (for Java).Regards,Lucian
