how Arabic charcter display

i want to create pdf with arabic charcter, it is display nothing.i used Asian Itext jar also ,but not a gud result.

so what shoul i do 2 skip that error?????? if there any ttf file support dat?????????

Salam,

 

in iReport go to Tools --> Options --> Fonts

then click on Install Fonts andselect the arial font( on windows C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ariali.ttf)

click next and in the pdf details choose

Identity-H (Unicode with horizontal writing)

 

and check the "Embed this font in PDF"

click next

Add your locale and click finish

After that you need to export your new font click on "Export as Exstinsion" and add the generated jar file to your class path...
