Multiple reports in a single file?

Hi,

I have just started exploring Jasper Soft and I could not find a feature where we could have mulitple reports in one file, similar to multiple workseets in one excel file. Is this possible ?

what you mean for "mulitple reports in one file" ?

you are talking about pdf file? excel file?

 

you can use subreport, a powerful "tool" to make complex report structure...

try to take a look to it.

Yes but subreport will export to excel as one spreadsheet, I mean can we have a structure like a summary report for sales and then anothe report which gives details and the corresponding excel sheet will have 2 worksheet one for summary and one for the detail. With subreport it will be all in one worksheet.

you can create a report with multiple pages and then create one sheet per page...

you can also insert a pagebreak between subreports, so it has multiple sheets.

tools->options->ireport->export option->excel-->one page per sheet=true

I gave you a karma point for providing some information though it was not exactly what I wanted I wante one workshett for summary which could be any number of pages and one workshett for detail which could also have any number of pages.
