Column groups?

 Hello JasperReports users.

I trying to use JasperReports to print a lot of barcodes with text.

Now I can do that - but I'd like to be able to make some kind of grouping of Columns, so that the columns would continue to repeat. (as many as fit in the page).........is there anyway of doing this?

Otherwise i have to create rows such as:

text1...barcode1, text2...barcode2, text3...barcode3.

This is obviously bad - as when I decide to increase/reduce the number of groups of columns, then I will need to adjust my code which fills my report, not just my report.

I'd really appreciate any pointers.
