Adding a new property to a iReport Parameter

Is it possible to add an extra property to iReport Parameter using plug-ins.

To be precise, iReport params have already properties like Use as a prompt, Description, Parameter class, etc., I would like to add one more to the list.

It would a great help if someone can answer my question.

Did you manage to find out how to add a "custom" property to a parameter programatically using a plug-in in iReport ?
