trekblazer
Imagine that i need to start printing the first page of an ireport on a precut sticker sheet of X and Y number of rows and columns, which can be arbitrary depending on the sticker cutout sizes. There is data on these stickers that shall be preprinted thus there is a requirement to reuse the sheets for printing so that later printings will have sequential numbers. See attachment. If I am able to send in the desired position (target Row and Column) to indicate position of first record in print in the grid as parameters or variables, can anyone suggest how to have this positioning implemented in iReport that does not require me to pad/insert empty records in the source dataset? I'm looking for formula and expression solutions.Thanks.Mike
casavolal
Hi Mike,I have quite exactly the same your problem. I need to skip a parametric number of rows because in my report I fill all the ( 3 ) columns of my sticker sheet with the same data taken form the current datasource row.I hope someone can help us to find out a smart solution.LucaPost Edited by lcasavola at 02/24/2010 13:
