Cascading input controls for reports - Pro only?

It's pretty tedious to implement and shows where to install files under pro directories.

I am experimenting with community edition => will it work for it?

If not, I just saved myself a boatload of work.

yes it also works with the community edition. Its really no biggie to set it up.

 

 

By the way: This feature has been added to JasperServer in the current version 3.7.0, so if theres anychance you can upgrade to 3.7, do it! Way more easy to use there (no editing files needed...) :)

 Hi,

I wrote the tutorial mentionned by regw prior to this release and this tutorial is now outdated.

The jasperserver 3.7 release fully support cascading input controls.(In all editions including Community, Pro and Enterprise)

If you installed the samples you will find in /reports/samples a sample for cascading parameters.
