process user input and recieve the data?

first:

how can we let user to input data in grid of jasper report?

second :

How can we let user to dynamicly input data in jasper report?such as insert a row?

i.e, Can Jasper response to UI event?

I thind JasperReport is just a output tool,so it can't do these task.

I want to use applet or jscript event.

can someone give some opinion.
