Hello again ,

I'm very pleased with Jasper so far . But I'm wondering if

Jasper supports Master detail relationships , where we have simmiler to this

Jasper xml DOM

(empty) (empty) SAX

(empty) (empty) JAXB

Jasper JDBC mySQL

JFreeRep JDBC Posgry

JFreeRep (empty) hsql

 

I hope I defined the dependencies in the way which communicates my thoughts .

I think my q. was not clear ,

let me explain a bit more.

 

If I have university department and student as parameters in my report.

and when I want to have university and the department parameters in one row I want to show the student detail in the same row without redundantly repeating the "university" and "department" like this :

UCLA CIS J.D age tele.

Z.A age tele.

-----------------------

Use reportElement|isPrintRepeatedValues = false on the university and dept. textFields
