RUN IN BACKGROUND functionality in iReport

i am a newbie to using JasperServer Repository in iReport.

Does iReport has a functionality equivalent to RUN IN BACKGROUND in JasperServer?

if not then is it possible to give a predefined destination for a report?

Also is it possible to schedule a report?

Any help would be appreciable.

iReports is a development tool. This question would be better asked in the Jasper Server Forum.

perhaps a simple java code to run your jrxml report then use cron or windows scheduler to schedule your script to run :)
