Embedded Design Window in a SWT/JFace application

Hi,

I work on a SWT/JFace application, and we use OLE Word and Velocity libraries so that users can edit and modify inside the application rtf templates that can be generated. When the users have to modify the template, a Word window is opened within the application, and they can drag tags, change the layout...etc.

My question: Is it possible to do the same thing with JasperReports?  As far as I read until now, the reports should be designed during development (Eclipse, RAD7 environments) and I don't see where it is possible to modify Reports without deploying a new version of the user application or without using iReports.
