jasper server api

Hi,

To get the name of the logged in user, we use -> com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.metadata.user.domain.User. Are there any documentation of the available api anywhere on the net? we have purchased the utimate guide as well as the pro version but none of these are documented. 

I would like to find some alternate way of doing some sort of versioning and was thinking of using trigger on the fileresource table where on update, insert a date + increment a field. Problem is i am unable to retrieve those values and print it on the report whenever it gets printed without going too deep into customization. 

I would like to avoid customization as it will be a major hurdle for us if we do decide to update the server :)

Unfortunately, there is no quick way of managing old report versions without some customization.
