Quarterly and Yearly Totals

I need my measure to return the total of a quarter as the total of the last month data in the quarter and total of the year as the total of the last quarter data or total of last month of the year data.

for example

ther were 100 users in jan,150 in feb and 200 in march.

The quarterly total must be 200 users for the quarter.NOT 100+150+200

how can this be done?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Is this possible to be done in a calculated measure?
