Feature Request: Lockable elements

When working with the visual template designer (iReport-nb-3.5.2), it would be VERY convenient to be able to 'lock' certain elements (like background images and static text) in such a way that:

1. They do not become selected when lift-clicked.

2. They will not become selected when left-click-dragging to select a region.

These elements could only be 'unlocked' by right-click -> Unlock from the document structure panel on the left. It would make working with complex page layouts MUCH easier.

Visio and other diagramming tools have similar functions - 'protected', 'unlselectable', etc.
