Usinf calculated fields in Domain

Hi All,

I'm creating a domain in Jasperserver and would like to add a calculated field similar to COUNT(*).

For example, I have a fact table where each record represents a transaction, and one of the key measures of any report will be to list the number of transactions.

How would I go about accomplishing this? I'm guessing it is using the "Calculated Fields" option of the Domian Designer, but I can't quite figure it out.

I am new in JasperServer, and I am also facing with same issue.

For example, I want to display how many orders are finished in the period of time for a particular client? I think I shuld use COUNT(*) expression, but I cann't figure out how.

Can someone help? Or just give me a hint where to search?
