Setting the number of records per page

Hi,

I'm using the netbeans plugins to create jasper reports (the jrxml) then I use the JasperServer to run this report. What I'm looking for is a way to define the number of lines per page to be displayed. I locked in many forums and did not find anything useful.

My problem is not with the number of records I reatrive from the DB, I would like to find a way to said to the report bring 10 records per page. Moreover the main idea is to make this value dynamic, so I can open the report with jasperserver and then ask for the number of records to be displayed in each page.
