Error Loading Object From File

I'm on Win2k, so it's not a permission issue, i have the directory WIDE OPEN for access since I'm just testing on my dev machine before deploying. I am basically reusing the PDFServlet example code from the WebApp. I'm passing in a connection object from the JRUN connection pool.

 

In JRun 3.1 3.1.26414:

exception has an inheritance tree of:

 

dori.jasper.engine.JRException

java.lang.Exception

java.lang.Throwable

java.lang.Object

 

 

Here is the exception thrown in the calling page: dori.jasper.engine.JRException: Error loading object from file : C:JRunserversdefaulttransapp_daveh_appreportsGlobalMonthly.jasper

Oh yeah, look at that! Thanks! I can't believe how much time I've spent on this site withouth seeing that!

 

JasperReports rock! I no longer cringe when asked to create a report now! I two rewrote previous report in only a week, including ramp up time on learning JasperReports and iReports...the other two reports took over 3 weeks of coding!!! That's ROI!

Sorry for my hasty post. It's working now. I changed to many things to pin point what the exact cause was.

 

I wish these forums were searchable

I?m experiencing the same problem.

I?m using jasperreports-0.5.0 and tomcat 4.1.18. Could you please send me what?s the cause of this problem
