Excel formula using propertyExcperssion tag

Hi Everyone,

                 I am using the JasperReport 3.0.0 and iReport 3.0.0, i am exporting the report in Excel format in that i want to add the dynamic formula, i saw some forum discussion that we can use the propertyExperssion tag but i didn't find any detailed explaination about that tag.

Can anyone plz guide me how to use the following tag

<propertyExpression name="net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.formula">

</propertyExpression>
