passing parameter value to other parameter

Hi.

i m workin on ireport project and in that i need to pass the value of 1 parameter say ABC to other variable called XYZ, so during prompt if i pass a value for parameter ABC = 123 then my report doesnt work but if i set a default  value = 123 then my report works

 

Does any one know why this happes ?..

What name has the parameter in your attached file?

Do you really passing the value of the parameter to a variable or to an other parameter?

Is there an error-output ?
