printWhen in elementGroups

I am writing a report that will have quite a bit of summary information on the page footer of the last page. I can't use a summary because it doesn't always print at the bottom of the page, and the dummy group trick only works in the detail section.

 

Unfortunately, this means I have to put the same printWhen in a LOT of places. It seems like an element group would be an ideal way to apply a printWhen to a group of elements, especially since it doesn't do anything else that I can tell.

 

Would it be possible to add printWhen to them?

Hi,

 

The <printWhenExpression> is also available

at <band> level.

Since I'm not sure a <printWhenExpression> at

<elementGroup> will come soon enough for you

to use, I suggest you use subreports to group

those elements in some sort of a group that

displays together or not at all.
