Displaying Static Subreport

Hi

I want to display a static subrepor.

Now i have include the subreport and set DataSourceExpression as Dont use connection or data source.

I am not getting the subreport displayed.

No error is throwing

Help me

I have found that sub-reports even those with static data work better when they include a query even if the output is not used. Such as this one I used in a recent sub-report that was actually a second page to a letter produced as a pdf and downloaded from a website.

select xxxxx_id
from adacbt.xxxxxxxxxx
where xxxxx_id = $P{ID}

The sub-report did not make use of the xxxxx_id but without the query the sub-reports would not appear.
