Jasperserver report in Excel with ove 65536 lines

Hallo all,

 

a jasperreport under Jasperserver reports more then 65536 lines. (max lines in EXCEL).

 

Is there any kind of option to let Jasperserver do this report in more then one EXCEL-Sheet ?

Edit the WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml file, find the xlsExportParameters bean and set its maximumRowsPerSheet to 65536. You'll have to restart the server for this to take effect.

Hmm... sorry my Problem ist that i can't make EXCEL exports out of jasperserver with more than 65536 lines because EXCEL can't handle more than this number of lines.

 

But if i have more than that i need to make two ore more excel sheets.

That's exactly what maximumRowsPerSheet does. Have you tried it?

This setting works, i appreciate for putting this in Forum. The memory consumption is very high when scheduling big reports, I have allocated 3 GB of memory for JVM, 1 report has taken 1.5 GB of memory.The report has came back pretty fast i got around 70000 rows(35 MB) report in 7 minutes. Is there a way i can get rid of memory issues, I am already using visualizer, i don't mind if the report comes back more time, need have minimize the memory consumption
