Page breaks working fine in PDF but not in HTML

Hi,

I am using jasper 1.2.5

I have reports which I am generating in HTML or PDF format according to user's choice.

for HTML format, it looks good in IE but when I print, first page is good but from next pages, some part of next page comes on previous page & that part increases with page number.

But in PDF format, it prints corretly -- All the page breaks are good.

Can anyone help me find how to check differences for HTML & PDF format?

Thanks.

The HTML-Exporter creates one single HTML page. The 'report pages' are only separated virtually, not physical.

You could change the print settings of your browser or the CSS styles(increasing font size etc.) to try to stretch the table of a single report page to fit a real print page. But this is more a hack, which may fail. Some browsers may also support some of the CSS for printing stuff.

Use PDF for printing! It ensures what-you-see-is-what-you-get-as-hardcopy. Thats the reason why PDF was invented!
