How to remove the Excel formats

Recommended Posts

A group of my users want to extract the data from my Analysis Views into Excel file and then input them for other programs. So they prefer simple Excel files with minimal formatting. For example, no merged cells for the column headings, no color shading of cells, and no boldface text. They also don’t want the lines that read "Dimensions†and "Measures". How can I remove the formats?

Hi Sherman,

I have a similar request like xiudeng. I want the first row that reads "Dimensions" and "Measures" to be removed. I am very new XSL and have little or no experience working in it.

I tried to make various changes in xls_mdxtable.xsl but was unable to remove it.

If you could tell me how to do it, I would really appreciate it.

If you just want to remove the text, you just have to modify the resource property file.

If you're using MS Windows, go to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\jasperserver-ce-3.7.1\apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver\WEB-INF\bundles

Open "ja-pro_messages.properties"

Modify line #19,

Open "jpivot_messages.properties"

Modify line #12
