How do you setup an Oracle jdbc datasource?

Hello,

 

I'm new to JasperServer and seems like a great product. How do you implement an Oracle jdbc datasource for several reports created in iReports to work in Jasper Server?

 

I am using the OpenSource version.

First find the ojdbc.jar file on your system. Place it in the 'lib' directory of JasperServer (if it isn't there already)

 

Then log in as admin, setup a new datasource with the right URL and driver class. Save it.

I had done that already. Actually, I put the ojdbc14.jar in my install directory... C:jasperserver-2.0.1apache-tomcatcommonlib.

 

I forgot to start and stop the Jasper Server.

 

Once I did that, worked great!!!
