Bar Width in Bar Graph

Hi,

I am trying to generate a bar graph, but I am not able figure out how can I adjust the width of the bars. By default only a line is being displayed for each cateory. I want to display a finite width bar instead of a line. Also these bars should be joint by edges to one another.

The data used for generating the graph, looks something like this:

Rank: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Count:1000, 2000, 1500, 5000, 3000

 

I am attaching an example of the required graph.

am not sure if this could solve your problem, but instead of putting these in the series, make the series expression a static value like "Example" and put the variable for ranks in the category expression, and the variable for the values in the value expression.

my line of thought is that these ranks are represented as series, instead of different categories. just try it might help.
