problem with footers when rows = 0

Recommended Posts

I have a report with footers (to show sums and counts) that I don't want to show when the query returns 0 rows.

I have tried to use the "Print when expresion" option in the band footer with this expression:

$V{REPORT_COUNT}.intValue() != 0 ? Boolean.TRUE : Boolean.FALSE

But it don't seems to work. I printed the value of $V{REPORT_COUNT} in the footer and this value is 1 (but the recordset is empty). How can it be?

I'm using a connection to PostgreSQL 8.1.4

Does anybody know a solution for this?
