Jasper and Server

When I view Jasper Report from web application in java, The report is generated perfectly and The report is shown.after that when I close the report, the server gets stopped automatically.Is there any way to come over this problem

Can you outline how the server is being stopped and what type of webapp it is? I have integrated JasperReports into several web apps and I havn't seen a problem with shutting down a browser when a report has been generated.

 

A stack trace, error message, etc. from the server would also help indicate any issues.

actually it is a portal where we need to produce reports (like crystall) using Jasper tool. we're using tomcat 5.5 & postgresql.

 

we're started the tomcat and report is being generated successfully, after closing the report window., the tomcat server is closed as we do normal close using stop icon the server / close bin bat shutdown.exe

 

we're also using my eclipse for IDE

Why are you stopping the server after closing the reports window?

actually i am not stopping the tomcat server., when i close the report window, automatically tomcat server also stopped.

I'm not closing the tomcat server, as soon as i close the report window system itself stops the tomcat server.,
